エディターのFPSを下げてPCの負荷を下げる(4.7.2)

概要

UE4の開発環境はそれなりに高めのスペックを要求するのでPCが熱を持ちやすい。
また、低スペックPCでも軽快に動作させるにはエディターのFPSを下げるのが手っ取り早いです。

エンジンの設定を変更

[UE4インストールディレクトリ]/4.5/Engine/Config/ConsoleVariables.ini“を編集して、 

 
[Startup] 
; Uncomment to get detailed .... 
; 
;r.RHICmdBypass=0 
t.MaxFPS=30
としてUE4を再起動します。

エンジンの設定は変えたくない、プロジェクトの設定でなんとかしたい

エンジンの設定を変えるなんて怖い＆アップデートする度に書くのは面倒・・・であれば”[UE4プロジェクトのディレクトリ]/Config/DefaultEngine.ini“に以下を足す。 

 
[ConsoleVariables] 
t.MaxFPS=30

コンソールコマンドで変更

一時的にFPSを調整したい場合は、コンソールコマンドから以下を入力しても同じ結果になります。 

t.maxfps 30
