002 Visual Studio 2013のインストール(4.2.1)
概要
Visual Studio が無くてもUE4は使えますが、あるとより高度なデバッグを行うことができます。
インストーラのダウンロードとインストール
http://www.visualstudio.com/ja-jp/downloadsから「Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows Desktop」の「今すぐインストール」をクリックします。MicroSoftのアカウントにサインインして、Express版をダウンロードします。 
ダウンロードしたファイルを起動して、ライセンスに同意しインストールを完了させます。
Unreal Engine 用にVisual Studioの設定を変更する
VisualStudioをUE4に適した設定に変更します。

ソリューション構成のウインドウ幅を調整する
- [ツール]→[カスタマイズ]を選択します。
- [コマンド]タブの[ツールバー]にチェックを入れ、プルダウンメニューから[標準]を選択します。
- コントロールの[ソリューション構成]を選択し[選択したボタンの編集]をクリックします。
- ポップアップダイアログが表示されるので、[幅]を[200]に変更します。
ソリューションプラットフォームの追加
- ツールバーの右端のボタンから[ツールバー上のボタンの追加 / 削除]をクリックするとドロップダウン メニューが開きます
- 出てくるメニューの中から[ソリューションプラットフォーム]にチェックを入れます。
エラー内容を出力ウインドウに表示させる
- [ツール]→[オプション]を選択します。
- [プロジェクトおよびソリューション]→[全般]項目の[ビルド終了時にエラー一覧を表示]のチェックを外します。
ビジュアライザーの設定
UE4には「UE4.natvis」というファイルが同梱されています。
これは、Visual Studioでのデバッグ時に独自のデータ型を正しく表示するためのコンポーネントです。
これを使えば、任意のデータ型をUEに適した形で見ることができます。
natvisを使用するには「Unreal Engine\4.4\Engine\Extras\VisualStudioDebugging」に入っている「UE4.natvis」を、
「Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\Packages\Debugger\Visualizers」にコピーします。
